But when you are back on the ground from the helicopter tour, don’t skip the Ali’i Drive Farmers Market — it’s local flavor at its best.
And do a Luau. You can’t come to Hawaii and not experience a Luau. Get there early though to witness the Imu ceremony. This ceremony involves revealing the roasted pig, cooked in a traditional underground oven (which is also called an Imu), before the luau feast. There will also be wonderful entertainment including beautiful Hawaiian traditional performers and fire dancers. Oh, and the food is also to die for!
Hawaii is a very different environment though, but honestly, you have to experience it to believe it!
The only depressing part is, when it’s time to go home, you will be absolutely sick that you have to leave the island, but you will always have those Hawaii memories to relive!
